Once everyone had left the burial ground of the young prince of Rohan you stood there alone with an armful of white flowers. You placed them right in front of the door of the grave.
“Sleep in peace my dear friend.” You whispered, tears freely fell from your eyes. You quickly rubbed the tears from your eye’s “N-no [y/n] you must be strong. That’s what he would want.” The truth is that you were friends with the Prince of Rohan but you also had a bit of a crush on him. Once again you rubbed more tears from your eyes, and turned to head back to the kingdom to finish up some chores.
~Time skip~
You rubbed your puffy eyes as you continued your way to the kitchen with a basket filled with veggies. You gasp when you walked into someone and dropped the basket of veggies. Quickly you start picking up the vegetables. Suddenly a hand has placed a carrot in your basket. You look up to have your [e/c] eyes meat with light blue ones. You looked down avoiding eye contact.
“Th-thank you.” You mumbled. Making your way past him you weaved through Aragorn and Gimli. Right before you went around a corner you looked up seeing that the Elf was watching you. Your blush deepened, you then jogged the rest of the way to the kitchen.
“What was that about?” Asked Gimli.
“By saw she seems flustered.” said Aragorn.
“That girls name is [Y/n].” The small group turned to see Gandalf. “She may be very shy but a very interesting girl when you get to know her.”
I’ll say. She seems like could give a good punch, at least of what I say.” Said Gimli.
“She does have an interesting life story.”
“What is her story Gandalf?” Gandalf glanced at Legolas, and smiled.
“I’m Afraid I can’t tell you, only she can. But I will tell you this she has a great interest of the ways of the Elf’s.” Gimli smiled at this.
“Hm I see.”
~Time skip~
You have just heard of the announcement of the village heading to helms deep. You packed a small bag with some loafs of bread, a couple spare pares of clothes, hair brush, and a few other things. Running out of your room you went to meet up with Lady Eowyn at the stables. But before you got too far you stopped in your tracks and turned around back to your room to grab one more thing. Reaching under your bed you pull out a small jewelry box. Opening it you pull out a golden leaf necklace. (I’ll post a picture of it later) Quickly you placed it around your neck and hid it down your dress. Once again opening your door you rushed out. But for the second time today you ran into someone, but this time you ended up falling on your butt.
“Ouch.”  YOU rubbed your now sore bottom.
“Well it seems we are making a habit out of this.” Your eyes widen, as you see the elf man got up from the ground and then offered you a hand. Keeping from eye contact you take his hand and pulled you to your feet. You held your bag close to you. Legolas soon noticed your fingers were all wrapped in bandages. “What happened to your fingers?”
“U-um… I… G-got distracted… w-why ch-chopping the vegetables.”  Leoglas smiled down at you and held his hand out to you.
“I have never properly introduced myself. My name is Legolas Greenleaf Prince of Mirkwood.” You looked to his hand and then up at him, slowly you take his hand into yours.
“[Y-Y/n].” With the sound of the town bell you ringed you once again avoided eye contact.  “I-I-I must go.” You made your way to the stables ad Legolas watched you tell your figure was out of sight.
