Assassin’s Creed 3 Connor x reader chapter 3

~one month later~
You packed up a small bag of you clothes and a small basket of food for the trip home. You walk to the living room your simple work dress flowing. You stop just at the entrance of the living room where you see the old man Achilles sitting in front of the fireplace.
“I’m heading home Achilles. Is there anything you need me to do before I head out?”
“No nothing else.” You walked over and stood in front of him leaning down and hugged him, and he hugged back. “I’m sorry that I couldn’t see you on your birthday [Y/n].” You pulled back smiling at him.
“It is alright Achilles. I understand.” You looked around the house one last time.  “You should really think about fixing the house old man.” With that you head out to the stables and hopped onto your trusty horse Ash.
~time skip~
You wore a cloak with a hood over your head with a cloth over your nose and mouth. You kept your head down as you slowly trotted down the path.
“Um excuse me miss?” You pull on the rains stopping Ash. Lifting your head ever so slightly your eyes widen slightly when you see it was that native boy again.
‘What is he doing here?’ “What is it boy?” You were quiet glad that you hid half of your face. Because he didn’t seem to recognize you, also it muffled your voice slightly.  “I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find someone who lives anywhere near here.” Looking into his eyes, you could see that he was starting to feel uncomfortable. Looking in the directions that you were coming from and pointing up the path.
“Head up this path and you should reach a Homestead.” The native boy shook his head as in thanks and starts to make his way on the path. When he disappeared over the small hill you remove the hood and pull down the cloth covering you face. You reached up and gently brushed your fingers over a red and a blue feather and a couple of beads that were clipped into the right side of your hair. “Just what are you planning?” After finding a safe place for your horse to a tree branch you went to the trees and fallowed him.
~Time Skip~
You watched from high up in a tree that was the closes to the Homestead, but that still hid you. The Native boy hesitantly walked up to the door and nocked. After a little bit of waiting he knocked again. Achilles opened the door hastily.
“What?”
“Um… I was told you could train me.” You chuckled lightly as right away the old man said no and slammed the door closed. You expected that he would just give up right away, but he continued.
“I’m not leaving you yells.” You knitted you eyebrows together as you watched. As he started to move again you watched him take shelter in the stables, as it was almost dark outside.  When he lied down you jumped down from your hiding spot and made your way to the front door, and knocked.
“I thought I told you to..” Achilles stopped midsentence. “[Y/n] what are you doing here? I thought you went home.” You entered the homestead.
“I was, until that native caught my attention.”  Achilles let out a sigh.
“You know something of that boy don’t you?” The both of you sat down by the nice warm fire and you explained what happened. Achilles let out a sigh and stood.
“Well it seems that you will be staying a few extra days. He head up the stairs. “Mize well get some sleep [Y/n]. Go to bed.”
“I will, Good night Achilles.” Once he was upstairs you walked to the window looking out at the stables and see that your horse was now standing outside the stables munching on some grass. Letting out a sigh you quickly made your way to your room and changed. Once changed, you strap the cloak around your white night gown, grabbed a blanket, and quietly snuck out towards the stables.
“Hey boy.” You combed your fingers through Ashes Black mane. “Let’s get you indoors.” You led you horse into the stables, somehow not waking him. At least that’s what you thought. Before you head back in you looked in at the sleeping boy who had his back to you. Letting out a sigh you walked towards him. Carefully stepping to make no noise with your bare feet. “You’re a strange boy.” You mumbled. You then draped a dark green blanket over him then head back inside. Ratohnhaké:ton’s eyes fluttered open and he sees the blanket. Sitting up he sees you walking towards the Homestead.
“Thank you.” You stopped in you tracks. You didn’t speak. “For the blanket.” You nodded and head back inside. Letting out a breath that you didn’t know that you were holding. It still seems that he didn’t recognize you.
~Next day~
Ratohnhaké:ton awoke the next day with full intention as to try again. Once again you were up hidden in the tree leaning against the trunk watching him. He went around trying the back door but once again denied.
“I’M COMEING UP!” He climbs up to the balcony and tries the door again. “Just here me out?! What are you so afraid of?” Your eyes widen for you knew what was about to come. The door swings open and Achilles looked mad. Achilles used his cane to trip Ratohnhaké:ton and held it close to his throat.
“Oh you might dream of being a hero. Of riding to the rescues, of saving the world, but stay this course, and the only thing you’re gonna be is dead.” Achilles slowly made his way back in. “The world’s moved on, boy. Best you do too.” He closed the door as Ratohnhaké:ton go back onto his feet glaring at the door with determination.
“I WILL NOT LEAVE! DO YOU HEAR ME? I’m never leaving!” He turned around and jumped off the balcony. “Just wait old man. I will not be defeated so easily.” He made his way back towards the stables. “You will train me… You have too.” Ratohnhaké:ton stopped in his tracks when he sees a bowl of warm stew with a note near it. Picking up the note he read through it.
Eat the food and heed the old man’s warning, and go back to your tribe. Before your life changes forever.
Ratohnhaké:ton crumpled up the note and through it as hard as he could. You watched from a distance and let out a sigh. Looking to the sky it looked like it was going to rain. You didn’t want to travel through it but you really had to get home before everyone worries.
~Time skip~
It was pouring rain as you exit the Homestead and quickly made your way to the stables. Ash whinnied as he sees you racing towards him. Patting him on the neck.
“Shush boy, we need to be quiet.” Ratohnhaké:ton heard the commotion got up from his resting mat checked on the horses.
“Hey.” Your eyes widen as you faced the native boy. Ratohnhaké:ton’s eyes widen. “[Y/n]?” You quickly jumped onto Ashes back and whipped the rains. Ash went back onto his hind legs and dashed out of the stables and head down the path.
~Yet another time skip~
You brought Ash into a stable that  was next to the house not so far from the city of Boston. “[Y/n]?” Turning around you let out a sigh. You smile at the woman wearing a light blue night gown and had short brown hair and green eye that stood in front of you holding a lantern.
“Hello Mother. I’m home.” Wrapping an arm around your shoulder the two of you made your way inside the house.
~ 4 months later~
The autumn leaves as you wondered around the woods with your little 8 year old brother Tomas. Right now you were play hide and seek. You looked around seeing in a crouched position, a small laugh came from you lips as you looked around. “Tooomaaas. Where are you?” YOU hear a small childish giggle coming from a leaf pile only a few feet from you. Your smile widens and you jumped into the pile. Tomas screamed and laughed trying to get away from you. “Oh no you don’t.” Holding onto him tightly you tickled him in every place possible.
“[Y/n] p-please s-s-stop it.” Ruffling his messy dirty blonde shoulder length hair. Once he got his breath back he looked at you with his bluish green eyes. “I want to play again.”
“I’m afraid it’s going to have to be later. Mum might be waiting for us to come home for supper.”
“Aw fine.”
~Time skip~
Hantaywee sat on the front porch making arrows for when he goes hunting. He looks up from his work his usual serious face softens and a small smile came to his lips as he sees you and Tomas walking towards him.
“Welcome back.”
“Hi Hantaywee, is mum done making Supper yet?”
“Not quiet wet. [Y/n].”
“Yes?” Hantaywee holds out a letter to you.
“A letter came for you… from Davenport Homestead.” Your eyes widen. It was very rare that you would get a letter from Achilles.
“What does it say [Y/n]?” asked Tomas. Opening the letter you read through it.
“Achilles wants me to help train… a new recruit.” There were silences for a few minutes until the silence was broken.
“Will you do it?”
Here you all go a nice long chapter. Just as a little side note. You are now 14 in this chapter. So will you do it? We will find out next chapter. I hope you all enjoy. Assassin's Creed 3 does not belong to me.
