A trip that changed a life chapter 18

You smiled down at Osahar and gently combed your fingers through his hair as he slept in your bed. Mahad carefully looked over Osahar’s wounds as he slept.
“I look like his wounds aren’t so serious. But it seems that he lost quite a bit of blood. I just suggest that he gets plenty of food and sleep.”
“Alright thank you Mahad.” He smiled down at you. You smiled back but then cringed and gripped a hand over the mark on your right arm. Mahad narrowed his eyes.
“[Y/n] are you alright?” Mahad now stood in front of you. “Let me see your arm.” You release your grip on your arm and both of your eyes widen when you see a small amount of blood covering your hand. Looking back at your arm you see blood slowly dripping down your arm from the eye of the marking.
“W-what the?” Your arm shakes. Mahad takes a wet cloth and wiped off the blood. “M-mahad do you know what’s going on with me?” Mahad had his back to you as he looked for some bandages.
“I’m afraid I don’t. But it doesn’t look too serious. But if the pain seems to get worse I would suggest looking in the book of realms and see what it says.” He wrapped the bandages around from your wrist to your elbow. You let out a  shaky sigh.
“A-alright. Thank you Mahad.” You bowed. “Well I guess I’ll get back to my duties.” You were about to leave you room when Mahad placed a hand on your shoulder.
“No [Y/n] you done enough today. Take the rest of the day for yourself. It is  your birthday after all.” He smiled down at you, you smiled back letting out a small chuckle.
“Alright.” Mahad patted your shoulder then left your room. Pulling up a chair next to the bed you sat down, closed your eyes, and mumbled a few words. The book of realms formed and flopped into your lap.  “Let’s see what we can find.”
~Meanwhile~
Atem sat in the garden looking at his reflection.
“Pharaoh Atem.” Atem looked over his shoulder to see it’s Luke. “You seem stressed.” Luke walked over and sat next to him, taking a glance. “Is it about your present for my sister?” Atem glanced at him.
“How did you...”
“Oh a little birdy told me you could say. But tell me Atem, what are your feelings?”
“For who?” Luke lets out a chuckle.
“For my sister of course. “ He looks at the water. “I see every day you two have something for each other.” He picks up a stone and tosses it in the air and then catches it. “Just like what I saw in my mother and father.” He throws the role and it skipped along the water.” Atem stayed silent. Luke then reached into his pocket and Atem’s eyes widen.
“My..”
“Yes I know.” He placed it onto his hands and gave them a quick couple of pats. “I also know what’s inside and all I can tell you is…” He looked Atem straight in the eyes. “That she will love it… and love you.” With that Luke got up and walked away. “I wish you the best of luck young Pharaoh.” Atems cheeks were in flames.  He then looked down at the present.
“And she will love you.” He repeated.  He slowly smiled.  “And I will love her.” Saying that he got up and head off to find you.
~Meanwhile~
You let out a sigh as you read through the book so far finding nothing. You ran your fingers through your hair.
“Oh ra what am I going to do?” You flipped to the next page but noticed something felt strange about the page. After playing with then a little bit you accidently tore it. “Tawagoto. What wait.” Your eyes widen, you quickly ran over to the other side of the bed opening the drawer and pulled out a knife, then ran back. Sticking the knife into the side of the page. When finished you dropped the knife ignoring the sound it made as it came in contact with the ground.
“So what are you?” There were at least hidden pages. You quickly flipped through them and smiled.
“Am I interpreting something?” Your eyes widen and you quickly closed the book. Looking towards the door your eyes widen even more.
“P-P-prince Niles?!”
